Tezpur Law College | Admission Notice 2019-20 | Entrance and important Dates

Established in 1972, the sole and premier Institute of the town Tezpur Law College, Tezpur (affiliated to the Gauhati University) is inviting fresh applicants for enrollment in its legal premises. The admission processes for the academic year 2019-20, for the courses viz. LL.B. (3 year) & B.A. LL.B. (5 year) has started from 7th June ’19 which is to continue till 20th June ’19 for the 5 year course and 1st July for the 3 year course.

Here are the details for the concerned students willing to apply for it’s applications –

B.A.LL.B. (5 year) Course :

Eligibility – The concerned applicants must have passed the HS examinations.

1. Date of issuing admission form: 7th June, 2019

2. Last date of submission of application form: 20th June, 2019

3. List of eligible candidates for entrance: 21st June, 2019

4. Date of entrance exam.: 22nd June, 2019

5. Display of results of qualified candidates: 26th June, 2019

6. Total Seat: 60

7. Age Limit:
For General – 20 years max.
For other Castes (OBC/SC/ST) – 22 years max.

8. Percentage:
For Gen. 45% Min.
For OBC 42% Min.
For SC/ST 40% Min.

N.B.: As per BCI Rules & G.U. Regulations, a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory and all the other Institutional requirements viz. 1st Sessional, 2nd Sessional, Viva voce, Seminar etc. are strictly compulsory and no students would be allowed to appear the semester end examinations without attendance on the above mentioned eligibility criterion.

LL.B. (3 year) Course :

Eligibility – the concerned applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree.

1. Date of issuing admission form: 7th June, 2019

2. Last date of submission of form: 1st July, 2019

3. List of qualified Candidates: 8th July, 2019

4. Date of admission: 15th July, 2019

5. Total Seats: 120

6. Age Limit:
For General -30 years Max.
For other Castes (OBC/SC/ST) – 35 years Max.

Minimum Percentage :
For General – 45% Min.
For OBC – 42% Min.
For SC/ST – 40% Min.

The BCI rules, GU regulations regarding attendance and other examinations would be the same as mentioned above.
