‘Skill Development Programme’ conducted by Reducate Skill Labs & Vivo Skills in Tezpur.

Mitigating all odds, the Reducate Skill Labs & Vivo Skills and Training Centre has organized a skills development programme on 24th Jan ’19 (Thursday) under the aegis of ‘Assam Skill Development Mission’ which functions within the ‘Prime Minister’s Kaushal Bharat campaign’.

The prime motto for this event was to impulse soft skills, personality development, skill development to those deprived sectors who lacked in formal opportunities relating to various financial and other reasons by providing job placements with utter diligence. Candidates from various age groups and backgrounds joined here to dream a better life. Even a mother and daughter/son were seen to educate themselves on the same platform.

Talking exclusively to Tezpur Buzz, Mr. Subhabsish Ghosh said that ‘almost every student participating there had a bitter and struggling past. By training them, we try to nurture their skills and boost their confidence and self-esteem’. Few entertaining performances were also observed where participants were seen to hold the mic with confidence on the red carpet.

Newly appointed hon’ble DC, Sonitpur Shri Narsing Pawar, also had his presence to grace the auspicious occasion along with the Mr Farouk Alam, District Development Commissioner and Mr Utpal Rabha, District Manager of the Assam Skill Development.

One notable incident follows for the event as a patriotic ‘MIME’ performance by some awakening students instantly got selected to be performed on the Republic day this year by the grace of Mr Alam.

Prominent persons among the organizing team Mr. Rajeev Lochan, head of Reducate Skill Labs, Mr. Ankur Garg, head of Vivo Skills and Traning, Mrs. Nirmali Bhattacharjee, head of the Centre guided the entire event along with other faculty members.
