The Tezpur Gas Agency near Hatipilkhana Chariali and other agencies among the town observed massive crowds infront of its doors for the last three days due to the North East packed LPG Transporters Association strike owing to their demands.
The incoming of LPG gas revived in town from the last Friday which attracted large gatherings in and out the office.
As crisis concludes, customers of LPG swinged moods to express their woes while standing for long hours in the queues.
‘I stood at the queue nearly about 8:00 am but finally got my gas booked at nearly 1.30 pm, however the cultural rally of the Darrang College’s College Week that surpassed the Hatipilkhana Chariali, mesmerized us a lot for about an hour, said a victimised civilian in a conversation with Tezpur Buzz.
Sources also expressed that these queues might be a normal view for the few upcoming days and that the strike may again retrieve if the transporters demand are not fulfilled further.
