Edupur Society a frontline NGO has created a platform, where youth enjoys the positive and creative aspects of self-expression, and at the same time, allow their own success through creative work in a safe environment. Edupur is able to equip these young participants with a new mindset and provide them with a portfolio of tools for creative expressions that will give them hope and self-empowerment, builds leadership skills and self-esteem.
Keeping in mind about the necessity of good health and to bring awareness among the people regarding various health issues and well being of a human, a Mural Painting programme was observed on Saturday, under Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan, by joint venture of Edupur Society and Kanaklata Civil Hospital. The said painting was taken place inside the walls of Kanaklata Civil Hospital.
The programme was initiated by Dr. Rini Duwarah, Superintendent of TKCH and the art was initiated by Artist Alaka Sharma and Rajesh Sarkar. The programme was graced by the presence of Amit Raj Konwar, Founder & Secretary, Edupur Society; Dr Bijay Pal Das, Dr Pradip Nath among others.
While inaugurating the programme and addressing the gathering, Mr Amit Raj Konwar said “Such type of initiative should be taken to make people aware about the basic cleanliness and hygiene which would be helpful for the patient and the members of the hospital to maintain proper sanitation.”
